Students from the EWS category, with an annual income of less than one lakh rupees, and those belonging to the DG category—including SC/ST/OBC Non-Creamy layer, Orphans, Transgender individuals, and children living with or affected by HIV—can apply for admissions under this act. The RTE Act 2009, alongside the Delhi School Education Act & Rules 1973, mandates a reservation of 25% of the total class strength for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Disadvantaged Groups (DG), and Children With Special Needs (CWSN).
Delhi EWS Result Merit List 2025
The merit list for EWS / DG admission in Delhi schools will be published in multiple parts, including the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd merit lists as part of the draw process. The first merit list for EWS / DG admissions for the academic year 2025-26 will be published on March 14, and the second merit list is expected to be published in May 2025. However, exact dates for the 3rd merit list and other draws will be announced soon.
