Government of Assam has launched a new initiative called the Chief Minister’s Jibon Prerana Scheme on 3rd November 2025. The scheme has been introduced by the Skill, Employment & Entrepreneurship Department to support young graduates of Assam who are looking to build their careers after completing their education. Under this scheme, eligible 2025 pass-outs from government and public institutions in Assam will receive ₹2,500 per month for one year as financial assistance. The amount will be directly credited to the beneficiary’s bank account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Must be a fresh graduate (2025 pass-out) from a government or public institution. Applicant must be unemployed at the time of application. Students from private or open universities are not eligible. Children of government employees, ministers, MLAs, and contractors are excluded, except for children of Class IV employees. Parents’ annual income should not exceed ₹10 lakh.
