Shaadi Mubarak Scheme is one of Telangana’s most thoughtful welfare initiatives, introduced on 2nd October 2014. It was launched with a clear intention to support minority community families, prevent child marriages, and reduce the heavy financial burden that often comes with wedding expenses. Under Shaadi Mubarak Scheme, the Government of Telangana provides one-time financial assistance to the family of the bride so that her marriage can take place peacefully, without financial stress. The amount is transferred directly into the bank account of the bride’s mother, ensuring total transparency and ease of use. Resident of TelanganaShe must be a permanent resident of Telangana. Age RequirementThe bride must have completed 18 years of age at the time of marriage. Marriage Date ConditionThe marriage must be scheduled on or after 2nd October 2014. Income LimitThe parents’ combined annual income should not exceed ₹2 lakh.
