EWS Result and School List 2024-25:- The Government of NCT of Delhi, Directorate of Education has released EWS draw result 2023-24 for admission of EWS/DG & CWSN category students at entry level classes (Nursery/Pre-School, KG/Pre-primary, Class-1) in private unaided recognized schools. The Students who has applied for EWS admission 2023-24 can check name of school allotted to them by login to EWS/DG/FREESHIP lottery result for session 2023-24. EWS draw list 2023-24 for admission in nursery and pre-school has been released by NCT Delhi. Parents of the children can check EWS merit list at online portal www.edudel.nic.in using their registration ID & date of birth (DoB).

Under Right to Education (RTE) Act of 2009, total 25% of seats are reserved for EWS/DG (22%) and children with disabilities (3%) for admissions in entry-level classes-nursery, kindergarten, and first class. Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Disadvantaged Group (DG) and Children With Special Needs (CWSN) can apply for free and compulsory elementary education admission under RTE Act 2009. How to Check EWS Result 2024-25

Complete process to check EWS Result 2024-25 is given below step by step.

Step 1 : Visit the official website of the Directorate of Education, Delhi at https://www.edudel.nic.in. or https://edustud.nic.in

Step 2 : At homepage, click on “EWS / DG Admissions and EWS / Freeship Admissions.

Step 3 : After that, click on “EWS / DG 2023-24 Result,” and a new page will appear on your screen.

Step 4 : On this page, you must enter your credentials, such as the candidate’s registration number and date of birth.

Step 5 : When you press the submit button, the results will be displayed on your screen.

• If the applicant has been selected, it will show the allotted school name.
• If the applicant is not selected, it will show "It is regretted that you have not been selected in the draw of lots. You can wait for next allotment list.
• If the applicant enter wrong data it will show "No record Found".

Step 6 : It is recommended that you save a copy of the results on your computer for future reference. You must also obtain a printout.

Note : The school once allotted to an applicant under EWS/DG & CWSN category through computerized draw shall not be changed under any circumstances.

Delhi EWS School Merit List 2024

Directorate of Education, EDUDEL has released the first list of candidates for the EWS Result 2023-24 on 14 March 2023. All of the children whose names appear on the list will be chosen and assigned to various schools in Delhi for the admission process before the deadline for applications. When the primary round of admission is completed successfully, the Directorate of Education, Delhi will make their decision based on availability of seats, and the EWS second result list, will be generated by a computerized draw.

The applicant who has been allotted schools under computerized draw of lots EWS/DG/FREESHIP RTE Act-2009, shall approach the school allotted school on or before 30 April 2023 with the following documents.

• Print out of the application form filled during registration process.
• Two photographs of the applicant
• Date of birth proof self attested photocopy
• Residential proof self attested copy
• Documentary proof for EWS/DG & CWSN category self attested copy

The admission of the applicant shall be CANCELLED in case the document submitted by the applicant at the time of admission are found to be fake or forged at any stage of the admission or afterward admission. Criminal proceedings may also be initiated against such parents or guardians of child.

EWS / DG Category Reservation

For admission to entry level classes (Nursery/Pre-School, KG/Pre-primary, 25% seats are reserved for child of EWS/DG/children with disabilities, 20% for Management Quota, 05% for children or grandchildren of staff and employees, and rest 50% for general category. Delhi EWS result is prepared considered the reservation given in the table.

Delhi EWS 2nd List 2024

Directorate of Education will announce EWS 2nd list 2023-24 after the completion of process of admission based on EWS 1st draw list 2024-25. Delhi EWS result 2024-25 second list for Economic Weaker Section (EWS), Disadvantage Group (DG) and Children With Special Needs (CWSN) category candidates is to be announced on a notified date. The process of admission through 1st list is almost completed. On the basis of available seats left after EWS / DG / CWSN 1st draw allotment, the directorate of Education Delhi will release EWS / DG / CWSN 2nd draw result 2023-24.

The parents/guardians of children will be able to check the result by using the registration ID and date of birth. The candidates will be informed through an SMS on their registered mobile number. They shall also receive a call from the allotted school regarding the selection and admission process. The selected candidates have to approach the allotted school with self attested documents like date of birth proof, residential proof, documentary proof for EWS/DG & CWSN category, two passport size photographs of child and a copy of form filled, to complete the admission registration procedure.

List of Documents Required for Delhi EWS Admission 2023-24

• Recent passport-size photo of child
• ID proof: Student’s Aadhar card is mandatory for Delhi EWS Admission 2023-24
• Age proof certificate : Date of birth certificate of child
• Category Certificate: Caste Certificate of parents (if belonging to SC/ST/OBC)
• Income certificate : Income certificate from issued by the Revenue Department of GNCT of Delhi if applicable. Note income certificate is not required to applicants under Children with disabilities category.
• Residential proof certificate: for address proof of parents (documents which are acceptable - Permanent Residence Certificate/Aadhaar Card/Voter ID Card/Ration Card/Driving License/Bank Passbook/Electricity Bill) or Domicile Certificate of child.
• Aadhaar Card of Mother or Father / Voter ID / Driving License / PAN Card
• Affidavit/Self Declaration of child.
• Copy of application form filled at the time of registration.
