Guwahati University has recently announced the holiday list and academic calendar for the year 2025. All offices and classes at the university and its affiliated colleges will be closed on the designated holidays. Additionally, there is a list of restricted holidays for which university employees may take up to two days as leave.
As a NAAC A-grade institution, Guwahati University is one of the premier universities in Northeast India. The academic calendar for the 2024-25 session has been released for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Examinations for undergraduate courses are scheduled for the first week of May 2025, while postgraduate examinations will take place in June 2025. The summer vacation for Guwahati University will be from July 1 to July 31, 2025.
