Eligible candidates from Bihar can apply online at the MedhaSoFt e Kalyan web portal. The application statuses of the students, including those whose applications are pending finalization, can also be accessed on the portal.
As part of the Mukhyamantri Balika/Balak Protsahan Yojana, students belonging to backward classes who have passed their 10th board examinations are eligible for a scholarship of ₹10,000 provided by the Government of Bihar. Students who have applied for this scheme can check if their names are included in the MedhaSoFt student list available at medhasoft.bih.nic.in.

Follow these steps to check the MedhaSoFt student list:
Step 1: Visit the official website of Bihar e Kalyan – Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana at medhasoft.bih.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the button that says "मुख्यमंत्री बालक / बालिका (10th Passed) प्रोत्साहन योजना 2025 के लिए आवेदन करें" on the homepage.
Step 3: In the Important Links section, click on "Check Your Name in the List" or follow this direct link: Check Your Name.
Step 4: Select your District and College name from the dropdown list and click the view button.
Step 5: To search for your name in the MedhaSoFt student list, press CTRL + F and enter your name or Roll Code.
Eligibility Criteria for Mukhyamantri Balika/Balak Protsahan Yojana
- The applicant must be a resident of Bihar.
- Both unmarried and married girls are eligible to apply.
- The family annual income must not exceed ₹2.5 lakh.
- Only two daughters from the same family can avail of this scheme.
- All categories of girl students are eligible.
