PMEGP Scheme List: The Government of India, Ministry of Micro and Medium Enterprises has released version 2 of Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme schemes. Applicants can check the PMEGP schemes list and apply using the nomination form at the official web portal kviconline.gov.in.
The main goal of the PMEGP scheme is to create employment opportunities in the country by empowering individuals to establish new self-employment projects and micro enterprises. Eligibility Criteria for PMEGP Scheme
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
- There is no income ceiling for assistance while establishing projects under PMEGP.
- Projects costing more than ₹10 lakh in the manufacturing sector and ₹5 lakh in the business/service sector require beneficiaries to have at least an VIII standard educational qualification.
- Assistance under this scheme is available only for new projects specifically sanctioned under PMEGP.
- Existing units that are already part of PMRY, REGP, or any other government schemes are not eligible for this assistance.
How to Apply for PMEGP Scheme
The complete procedure to apply for the PMEGP scheme is outlined below:
Step 1. First, visit the official website of the Khadi & Village Industries Commission: https://kviconline.gov.in/
Step 2. On the homepage, click on the PMEGP button to open the PMEGP e-Portal.
Step 3. On the PMEGP e-Portal, click the "Application For New Unit" button.
Step 4. Complete the online application form with required details such as Aadhar number, personal and educational details, project cost, and financing bank details, then save the applicant data.
