SBI Unclaimed Deposits List: Unclaimed deposits is the amount lying unclaimed in bank accounts for a period of more than 10 years. State Bank of India has released SBI unclaimed deposits list of account holders. You can check your name in list of inactive account holders released by SBI and can claim deposits following the required procedure with all valid documents. If the account holders or heirs of account do not claim these unclaimed deposits then these funds will be transferred to Depositor Education and Awareness Fund (DEAF) of RBI.

Reserve Bank of India has developed a UDGAM portal to trace the unclaimed deposits lying in banks. Now citizen of country can find their inactive account or unclaimed deposits at single flatform. SBI has transferred highest amount of unclaimed deposited worth ₹8086 crores to Reserve Bank of India followed by PNB ₹5,340 crore and Canara Bank ₹4,558 cores rupees. How to Check SBI Unclaimed Deposits List 2023

State Bank of India (SBI) has set a procedure to follow to claim "Unclaimed Deposits" by rightful owner. The complete process for claiming of unclaimed deposit accounts is given below.

Step 1: First visit official website of State Bank of India at https://sbi.co.in and go to customer care section and then to inoperative accounts link.

Step 2: Now check name of account holder and address in list of unclaimed deposits by SBI. Enter your name, address and text verification captcha and click on submit button.

Step 3: Visit the SBI branch in which your have account and submit the "Claim Form" after filling all required field with your signature. You have to show passbook, deposit receipts, recent photographs and valid identity proof and all relevant original documents.

Step 4: SBI Branche will directly process the application for payment of unclaimed deposit
and pay the amount after due diligence and KYC compliance.

Note: For claim of non-individual accounts including proprietorship and HUF, the claim forms will be submitted on company’s/firm’s letter head duly signed by authorized signatories along with valid identity proof.

The complete procedure to check SBI unclaimed deposits list at UDGAM portal is given below.

Step 1: Step 1: First visit UDGAM Portal by RBI at https://udgam.rbi.org.in. or direct link https://udgam.rbi.org.in/unclaimed-deposits/#/register

Step 2: At the home page of UDGAM portal first register your mobile number.

Step 3: Click on register button and enter mobile number, name, captcha and then click next button. Now enter OTP send at your mobile number and click on register button.

Step 4: Now login at Udgam portal with your registered mobile number and password.

Step 5: You can search SBI unclaimed deposits list by entering name of account holder and selecting name of bank as State Bank of India or directly by entering PAN card number or Voter ID or Driving Number or Passport Number and Date of Birth.
