SC Caste List in Haryana 2024:-Backward class is a collective term used by the Government of India to classify castes which are educationally or socially disadvantaged. It is one of several official classifications of the population of India, along with General Class, Scheduled castes and Scheduled Tribes (SCs and STs).

At present Rajgar, Mochi, Weaver (Jullaha) (BC) and Julaha (SC) and Badi castes find a mention in the list of both scheduled caste and backward classes. The person belonging to these castes who do not cover under the scheduled caste being Non-Hindu and Non-Sikhs can take the benefit under the backward classes only.
