The Sputnik V vaccine against Covid-19 is available at various hospitals in Delhi. Developed by the Gamaleya Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology and endorsed by the Russian Direct Investment Fund, it was the world’s first registered vaccine against Covid-19. Below is the updated list of hospitals in Delhi where you can receive the Sputnik V vaccine.
Hospitals Providing Sputnik V Vaccine in Delhi (2025)
Several healthcare institutions, including Apollo Hospital and Fortis Healthcare, offer the Sputnik V vaccine throughout Delhi NCR. Fortis Healthcare has been administering the Russian vaccine at its locations, including Fortis Memorial Research Institute in Gurugram and Fortis Hospital in Mohali. Meanwhile, Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in Delhi has also started to vaccinate its patients with Sputnik V.
List of Hospitals Administering the Sputnik V Vaccine
The following hospitals in Delhi NCR are providing Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccine doses:
- Apollo Hospital, Indraprastha, Delhi
- Fortis Hospital, Mohali
- Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurugram
Fortis Healthcare announced that it had initiated the two-dose Russian Sputnik V vaccine program at its facilities since June 19.
Efficacy and Approval Status
The Sputnik V vaccine claims an efficacy rate exceeding 90%, similar to that of the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines. However, as of now, the World Health Organization has not granted emergency approval for the Sputnik V vaccine. Notably, the two-dose vaccine is authorized in over 67 countries, and a single-dose variant named Sputnik Light is expected to receive approval in India soon.
Sputnik V Vaccine Pricing in Delhi
The government has set the price for the Sputnik V vaccine at Rs. 1,145 per dose. In comparison, the maximum cost for Covishield is Rs. 780 per dose, while Covaxin is priced at Rs. 1,410 per dose.
