Directorate of Basic Education Uttar Pradesh has announced the holiday list for Basic Shiksha Parishad during 2025 along with the academic calendar for 2024-25. All regional offices and schools associated with the UPMSP board will observe the holidays as specified by the Basic Education Department of Uttar Pradesh. Please note that the date of certain holidays may change depending on local moon sightings, and notices regarding such changes will be published separately.
The holiday list covers national holidays, regional festivals in Uttar Pradesh, the birthdays of notable personalities, and gazetted holidays declared by the central government. Furthermore, employees in the Basic Education Department are entitled to take two additional leave days from the restricted holiday list in 2025.

Basic Shiksha Parishad Restricted Holiday List 2025
Each employee may choose any two holidays from the Basic Shiksha Parishad restricted holiday list. The Section Officer, along with the in-charge of their section and Private Secretaries to ministers and other officials, will maintain the records of restricted holidays taken by their subordinate employees.
