Eastern Railway has issued a recruitment notification for a total of 2792 Trade Apprentice positions across various divisions, including Howrah, Sealdah, Malda, Asansol, Kanchrapara Workshop, Liluah Workshop, and Jamalpur Workshop. The available apprentice positions include Fitter, Welder, Mechanic (MV & Diesel), Blacksmith, Machinist, Carpenter, Painter, Lineman (General), Wireman, Refrigeration and AC Mechanic, Electrician, and Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance. The following documents are required for the railway apprentice post:

• 2 copies of attested Mark Sheet/Certificate of Secondary Examination with the original document.
• 2 copies of ITI Mark Sheet with the original.
• Admit Card.
• Caste Certificate/Community Certificate as per reservation claimed.
• Aadhar Card.
• PAN Card.
• Photographs.
• Medical Certificate issued by a Government Authority Doctor (Gazetted) not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon of a central/state hospital in the prescribed format as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Para 4 of the Apprentices Rules, 1992.
