The swearing-in ceremony took place on December 12, 2022, in Gandhinagar, with the presence of prominent leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.
Bhupendra Rajnikant Patel assumed the role of Chief Minister of Gujarat, along with 16 newly elected MLAs who were sworn in as cabinet ministers. The oath of office was administered by the Governor of Gujarat, Acharya Devvrat. Gujarat Election Result 2022
In the elections, the Bhartiya Janata Party achieved a total of 156 seats with a vote share of 52.50%. The Indian National Congress managed to secure only 17 seats, with a vote share of 27.28%.
