India Post GDS Second Merit List: The results for the India Post Gramin Dak Seva (GDS) recruitment 2025, which includes 40,889 GDS posts, were announced on 11 March 2023. How to Check India Post GDS Second Merit List 2025
The India Post Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) 2nd selection list has been published on the India Post GDS Online Portal at indiapostgdsonline.cept.gov.in. Candidates selected for the posts of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS), Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM), and Dak Seva are chosen based on their percentage of marks achieved in the secondary school examination. Here’s how you can check the state-wise India Post GDS second merit list 2025 of selected candidates:
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Department of Posts at https://indiapostgdsonline.cept.gov.in/
Step 2: On the homepage, look for the "Shortlist Candidates List" on the left corner or search for "www.indiapostgdsonline.gov.in 2nd merit list pdf" using Google.
Step 3: Select the shortlisted candidates 2nd merit list and choose the circle you applied to from the drop-down list of the 23 circles of India Post GDS.
Step 4: The PDF file containing the names of all selected candidates will be downloaded onto your device. Open it to search for your name or registration number.
Step 5: Print out the page showing your name for future reference and visit the divisional head office for document verification. Selected candidates need to verify their documents at the office mentioned next to their name, along with two sets of attested photocopies of all required documents.
List of Documents Required for GDS Document Verification
Selected candidates are required to report to the Divisional Department for document verification before the deadline stated in the GDS merit list of shortlisted candidates.
- Identity Proof: Aadhar Card, Pan Card, Driving License, or Voter ID Card.
- Education Qualification Certificates: Original 10th class marks sheet and passing certificate.
- Age Proof Certificate: Original birth certificate.
- Address Proof Certificates: Permanent residence certificate or domicile certificate.
- Reservation or Category Certificates: Original community or caste certificate for candidates in reserved categories.
- Medical Certificate: Issued by a government hospital or primary health center.
- Other Certificates: Original transgender certificate, PWD certificate, and 'Riding a scooter or Motorcycle Declaration Annexure III' self-attested certificate.
Note: Provisional candidates must attend the document verification process with the original documents and two self-attested photocopies of each document.
