Documents Required for New Vehicle Registration Certificate

The following documents are required for the registration of a new vehicle:

  1. Vehicle registration Form 20
  2. Form 21 provided by the vehicle dealer
  3. Age and address proof documents
  4. Vehicle Insurance
  5. Temporary registration number
  6. Invoice of the vehicle, if imported
  7. Pollution Under Control Certificate
  8. Passport size photographs
  9. Manufacturer's certificate for the carriage registration
  10. Application Registration fees
  11. Demand Draft for Road tax paid
  12. Invoice of the vehicle to be registered
  13. Payment for appropriate fees as specified in Rule 81 of CMV Rules, 1989.
