The Krishak Bandhu Yojana was launched by the West Bengal government on 17 June 2021. This scheme aims to provide financial assistance to farmers for agriculture-related purposes. Under this government program, farmers in West Bengal can receive financial support of up to ₹10,000 in two installments during the Kharif and Rabi crop seasons. Furthermore, a financial aid of ₹2 lakh is provided to the eligible family member or nominee of the beneficiary upon their death.

During the distribution process, beneficiaries will use smart card readers to swipe their cards, ensuring that the receipt is updated in their accounts and the portal. Step 1: Visit the official website of Krishak Bandhu at krishakbandhu.net.
Step 2: On the home page of the WB Krishak Bandhu portal, click on "Registered Farmer Information" or "নথিভুক্ত কৃষকের তথ্য".
Step 3: Select your identification option, such as Voter card, Aadhar Card, Bank Account Number, KBID, or Mobile Number, enter the corresponding ID number, and click the search button.
Step 4: The status of your Krishak Bandhu Beneficiary will be displayed on your screen. You can take a printout for your future reference.
