List of 36000 Primary Teacher: The Calcutta Hight Court has ordered cancellation of appointment of 36000 candidate for primary teacher recruitment. The candidates whose appointment has been cancelled can continue their job for next four months at reduced salary of para teacher. These 36000 teachers were recruited through primary teacher recruitment 2016 TET-2014 Exam. Justice Abhijit Gangopadhay has founded that recruitment process is manipulated and allegedly appointed to post of primary teacher. The Calcutta Hight Court has also ordered to fill up these 36000 vacancies of primary teacher within three months.
In Past Calcutta Hight Court has already canceled appoints of 1911 candidates in February and 842 candidates in March. On 12 May 2023 Calcutta High Court has ordered cancelation of appointment of 27415 primary teacher appointed through Primary Teacher Eligibility Test 2014 (TET -2014). Primary Education Board chairman has said the 36000 teachers are not untrained anymore the board trained them all on online learning mode by 2019.
