Follow these steps to check your MBPY beneficiary status and application status:
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Social Security & Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Department at https://ssepd.gov.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the "Scheme / Services" link under the "Beneficiary Services" section or directly visit this link.
Step 3: Select the scheme and click on the "Proceed" button for the MBPY application. If you have applied for the scheme, proceed to the next step.
Step 4: Choose your scheme and click on the "Track" button.
Step 5: Enter your "Application Number" and click the "Search" button to check the beneficiary status.
Who Can Apply for Madhu Babu Pension Yojana?
The beneficiaries of the Madhu Babu Pension Scheme include:
- Senior citizens aged 60 years and above.
- Widows, regardless of age.
- Women involved in divorce proceedings.
- Persons affected by Hansen’s disease/Leprosy showing visible deformities, irrespective of age.
- Unmarried women over thirty years old.
- Individuals with disabilities.
- Persons living with AIDS.
- Transgender individuals.
Eligibility Criteria for MBPY Scheme in Odisha
The following individuals are eligible for the pension under the MBPY:
- Individuals aged 60 years and above (Old Age Pension).
- Widows, irrespective of age (Widow Pension).
- Leprosy patients with visible deformities (irrespective of age).
- Persons aged 5 years and above with disabilities or impairments.
- Unmarried women over 30 from below poverty line households or with an annual income not exceeding ₹24,000.
Financial Assistance under Madhu Babu Pension Yojana
Beneficiaries of the Madhu Babu Pension Yojana will receive the following financial aid:
- ₹500 per month for beneficiaries aged 60 to 79.
- ₹700 per month for beneficiaries aged 80 and above.
