How to Search Unclaimed Deposits List at RBI UDGAM Portal

The following steps detail how to search for the RBI unclaimed deposits list on the RBI UDGAM portal:

Step 1: Visit the UDGAM Portal at https://udgam.rbi.org.in or directly at the registration link: Direct Link.

Step 2: On the homepage of the UDGAM portal, register your mobile number.

Step 3: Click the register button, and enter your mobile number, name, captcha, and then click the next button. Enter the OTP sent to your mobile number and click the register button to complete registration.

Step 4: Log in to the UDGAM portal using your registered mobile number and password.

Step 5: Search for your name in the RBI unclaimed deposits list by entering the name of the account holder and the name of the bank, or directly by entering your PAN card number, Voter ID, Driving License Number, Passport Number, and Date of Birth.

Step 6: Check the search results for your name and follow the procedure outlined below to claim your inactive account or unclaimed deposits.

To claim unclaimed deposits, follow these steps:

Step 1: First, access the UDGAM Portal at https://udgam.rbi.org.in.

Step 2: Self Claim: To claim deposits personally, visit the branch of the bank where your account is held and submit the "Claim Form" after completing all required fields and signing it. Include your request letter along with valid ID proof, address, passbook, deposit receipts, recent photographs, and all relevant original documents.

Step 3: Claim by Legal Heir/Nominee: If claiming on behalf of a legal heir or nominee, you must visit the bank branch with the necessary documents and comply with the bank’s claim settlement process.

Step 4: Claim by Non-Individual: For claims concerning non-individual accounts, submit the "Claim Form" on the company's, firm's, or institution's letterhead with authorized signatures, alongside valid identity and address proofs. Additional documents may be requested by the bank for processing your application.
