RBI UDGAM Portal Unclaimed Deposits List: The Reserve Bank of India has launched UDGAM Portal (Unclaimed Deposits - Gateway to access information) to search for unclaimed deposits from several banks at single location. The Reserve Bank of India has released RBI unclaimed deposits list for account holders whose amount lying unclaimed in bank accounts for more than 10 years. You can check your name in RBI unclaimed deposits list pdf released by bank concerned or at RBI UDGAM centralized web portal for the public to search unclaimed deposits.
Now citizens of India can search for unclaimed deposits at a single portal developed by Reserve Bank of India. You can search SBI unclaimed deposits or any other bank and also can claim deposits by making account operative. The depositors or beneficiaries can get their deposits back by claiming their accounts at RBI portal. The legal heirs of these inactive funds can fill "claim form" to claim deposits. The procedure and documents required for claiming these unclaimed deposits is given below in detail.

How to Search Unclaimed Deposits List at RBI UDGAM Portal
The complete process to search RBI unclaimed deposits list at RBI UDGAM portal is given below.
Step 1: First visit UDGAM Portal by RBI at https://udgam.rbi.org.in. or direct link https://udgam.rbi.org.in/unclaimed-deposits/#/register
Step 2: At the home page of UDGAM portal first register your mobile number.
Step 3: Click on register button and enter mobile number, name, captcha and then click next button. Now enter OTP send at your mobile number and click on register button.
Step 4: Now login at Udgam portal with your registered mobile number and password.
Step 5: You can search RBI unclaimed deposits list by entering name of account holder and name of bank or directly by entering PAN card number or Voter ID or Driving Number or Passport Number and Date of Birth.
Step 6: Check your name in search result and follow the procedure given below to claim your inactive account/unclaimed deposits.
How to Claim Unclaimed Deposits at UDGAM Portal
Step 1: First visit UDGAM Portal by RBI at https://udgam.rbi.org.in. or direct link https://udgam.rbi.org.in/unclaimed-deposits/#/register
Step 2: Claim by Self: For self claim you can visit branch of the bank in which your have account and submit the "Claim Form" after filling all required field with your signature. Submit your request letter with valid ID proof, address, passbook, deposit receipts, recent photographs and all relevant original documents.
Step 3 : Claim by Legal Heir / Nominee: For claim of legal heir/nominee, you can can visit the branch of the bank and submit the required documents and has to comply with the claim settlement process of the bank.
Step 4: Claim by Non-Individual: For claim of non-Individual accounts, you have to submit the "Claim Form" on the company’s or firm’s or institution’s letter head with authorized signatures along with their valid identity and address proofs. In addition to this you may be asked to submit other documents as required by the bank to process your application.
Step 5: Concerned branch will directly process the application for payment of unclaimed deposit and pay the amount after due diligence and KYC compliance.
Note: For claim of non-individual accounts including proprietorship and HUF, the claim forms will be submitted on company’s/firm’s letter head duly signed by authorized signatories along with valid identity proof
