The Tamil Nadu RH list refers to the restricted holidays announced by the Tamil Nadu state government. Restricted holidays are optional holidays that government employees can take from a designated list. All government offices remain operational on these restricted holidays. It is up to the employees of an organization to decide whether or not to take leave on a specific restricted holiday.
The General Administration of the Tamil Nadu government has published a holiday calendar, including the restricted holidays for state government employees. In 2025, the Tamil Nadu state government will announce 33 restricted holidays, from which employees can choose to avail only two throughout the year. RH List 2025 Tamil Nadu Government
The restricted holidays declared by the Tamil Nadu government are additional holidays beyond the national and gazetted public holidays set by the central government. These holidays are optional, allowing government employees to choose any two from the specified list within the year.
