The Government of Odisha's Higher Education Department has announced the samsodisha.gov.in merit list for admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses for the academic session 2025. Students can check the merit list, selection list, and cut-off list for +3 degree college admissions at the DHE Odisha and the Students Academic Management System (SAMS) website @samsodisha.gov.in.
The SAMS Odisha merit list for e-admission in all +3 degree colleges, including self-finance colleges under the Student Academic Management System (SAMS), will be published on the website at various announced dates. The 3rd round selection allotment of seats was previously published on 12 August 2023. Students selected need to report to the allotted institutions for admissions from 14 August 2023 to 17 August 2023.

The SAMS Odisha Higher Education Degree Colleges have released the +3 degree selection merit list online for all categories including General, SC, ST, OBC, and EWS. Students who have applied for degree +3 UG admissions can check their selection status through the college notice board or at the official SAMS Odisha website sambodisha.gov.in.

How to Download samsodisha.gov.in Merit List 2025
Follow these steps to download the SAMS Odisha +3 degree merit list:
Step 1: Go to the official SAMS Odisha website: https://samsodisha.gov.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on Degree (+3) in the Higher Education category.
Step 3: The Higher Education Department Degree Colleges page will open; click on the "Merit List" link.
Step 4: Here is the direct link for the page: Merit List Link.
Step 5: Select your category and choose college type, stream, district, subject, college, and then click on the show button.
Step 6: The SAMS merit list for the selected district will open, displaying Name, Bar Code, and marks.
Note: The 4th round of the SAMS selection list will be the last round for the phase-1 admission process for UG courses.
List of Documents Required for SAMS UG Admission 2025
The following documents are required for UG and PG admissions in the session 2025:
- Original High School Certificate (HSE/CBSE/ICSE/any other Board) for date of birth verification.
- Original Higher Secondary (10+2) marks sheet or 12th class passing certificate.
- Aadhar Card and passport-sized color photographs.
- Migration certificate.
- School/college leaving certificate issued by the institution.
- Original Schedule Tribe/Schedule Caste certificate.
- Original person with disability (PwD) certificate (if applicable).
- Original ex-serviceman certificate (ESM).
- Original service defense personnel (SDP) certificate.
- Original children of martyrs (CoM) certificate.
- Original NCC/NSS certificate.
