SHODH Scheme Eligibility List for Application

Students applying under this scheme must meet the following eligibility conditions:

• The applicant must be a resident of Gujarat.
• The applicant should be a student currently studying in Gujarat.
• The applicant must be registered as a Ph.D. scholar in any recognized university within the state.
• The scholar must be pursuing full-time, regular research work.
• The candidate must follow all guidelines and submit documents correctly when applying.

How to Apply – SHODH Scheme Online Application Process

Follow these steps to apply online registration:

STEP 1: Visit the official SHODH scheme portal https://shodh.guj.nic.in/

STEP 2: Read the Government Resolution & Guidelines before applying.

STEP 3: Click Login Registration (New Users).

STEP 4: Choose the application year and fill all required details.

STEP 5: Verify carefully registration details cannot be changed later.

STEP 6: A password will be sent to your registered mobile number.

STEP 7: Login and change your password immediately.

Login & Form Filling

STEP 1: Select application year.

STEP 2: Enter email ID, password, and captcha to log in.

STEP 3: Fill User Details including ration card details and bank information.

STEP 4: Fill Academic Details including Ph.D. stream, thesis title (in English), guide details, and research lab.

List of Documents Required to Upload

Upload clearly scanned copies of:

• Aadhaar Card
• Bonafide Certificate
• SSC Certificate/Marksheet
• Research Proposal & PPT (with signatures of Guide & HOD)
• Self-declaration signed by Guide, HOD, and Nodal Officer

Benefits of the SHODH Scheme

Research scholars selected under the SHODH scheme receive the following financial support:

• ₹15,000/- per month as stipend for two years.
• ₹20,000/- per annum for contingency expenses.
• Total financial assistance up to ₹4,00,000 at the end of the two-year research period.

These benefits help scholars focus on their research without financial burden.
