Uttar Pradesh Directorate of Medical & Health Services has released UP ANM GNM merit list 2023 for admission to Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) training and General Nurse Midwifery (GNM) training 2023 in government training centres. The candidates who have applied for admission in ANM and GNM courses, now can check their name in merit list at http://dgmhup.gov.in website. Uttar Pradesh ANM & GNM merit list will be based on average marks secure by registered candidates in higher school (10th class) and intermediate (12th class) board examination. There will be 80% of seats in ANM course are reserved for female candidates who have minimum education qualification as mentioned in notification. UP ANM GNM Merit List 2023
- Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) Merit List - UP ANM merit list will be prepared based on average marks secured in higher school and intermediate board examination. The minimum qualification for ANM training is intermediate (10+2) examination UP board or equivalent.
- General Nurse Midwifery (GNM) Merit List - Up GNM merit list will be based on average marks secured by candidates in Higher and Intermediate examination. The minimum qualification for GNM training is intermediate examination (10+2) with 40% marks in English is mandatory.

Note: Out of ANM provisional list of 2700 shortlisted candidates, ANM training center wise final merit list of 1800 candidates will be released and remaining 900 candidates will be in waiting list for ANM admission 2024-25. Similarly out of 1359 shortlisted candidates in GNM provisional merit list, GNM training center wise final merit list of 453 candidates will be published and remaining 906 candidates will be in waiting list for GNM admission 2024-25.

- 20 % seats are reserved for ASHA Karyakatri/Asha Sangini candidates who are serving for last 5 years in department/NHM Uttar Pradesh

- 10% seats are reserved for male candidates
- Out of remaining seats, 15 % are reserved for ANM who are serving for last 5 years in department/NHM Uttar Pradesh.
Note: Reservation in ANM & GNM training for SC/ST/OBC and other categories will be applied as per government order. Applicant from outside of Uttar Pradesh state will be not given benefit of reservation.

Only final merit list will be published. There are only 1800 seats for ANM Admission and in provisional merit list 2700 candidates has been shortlisted for documents verification. Only chance of second merit list if candidates skips admission in large number.
