West Bengal Govt GNM Nursing College List 2023

West Bengal Nursing Council has published West Bengal govt GNM nursing college list with intake seats for General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) training courses. There are total 234 GNM training institutes including 43 government GNM nursing college and 191 private GNM institutes in West Bengal state. There are total 2567 seats available for GNM nursing admission 2023-24 in government aided and private GNM colleges. The admission to GNM nursing courses is based on merit list and marks secured in WBJEEB ANM & GNM examination conducted by WBNC.

General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is 3 years duration nursing course in govt, private and self-financed institutions in the state of West Bengal. The minimum qualification for GNM nursing course is 10+2 pass with 40% marks. The admission to GNM course will be based on WBJEEB common entrance test and both female and & male candidates can apply for admission.

Eligibility Criteria for GNM Nursing Course

GNM nursing course is 3 year training programme in govt. & private colleges.

• The applicant must be a citizen of India.
• Candidates must be domicile of west Bengal
• Both male and female candidates can apply for GNM course
• The applicants age must be at least 17 years as on 31 Dec 2023 and maximum age allowed is 35 years.
• 10th Class with 40% marks in English is mandatory
• Candidates should have passed 10th class examination with science subject by WB board or equivalent.
• Candidates (General/OBC) should have aggregate of 40% marks in 12th class board examination.

List of Documents Required for GNM Nursing Admission

• Id Proof: Aadhar Card, PAN Card or Voter Card
• Recent passport size photographs
• Marksheet and passing certificate of High School (10th Class)
• Marksheet and passing certificate of intermediate examination (12th Class)
• Residence or Domicile certificate
• Category certificate for SC/ST/OBC and other categories (if applicable)
