Haryana Roadways operates a fleet of approximately 4250 buses from 24 depots and 17 sub-depots. The bus fares are determined by the State Transport Authority of Haryana. Haryana Roadways Bus Fare Structure
According to notification No. 22/76/2003-2T(I), the Governor of Haryana issues bus fare guidelines to the State Transport Authority.

Detailed Explanation of Haryana Roadways Bus Fare
- For Haryana Gaurav Buses, the following charges apply: up to 50 KM - Rs. 5, 51 to 100 KMs - Rs. 10, 101 to 150 KMs - Rs. 15, and 151 KMs and above - Rs. 20 per ticket in addition to the ordinary fare.
- Fare is calculated (including passenger tax) for different route stages and rounded up to the nearest rupee.
- The minimum chargeable fare (including passenger tax) is Rs. 5.
- Fractions below half a kilometer are ignored.

Fare for City Bus Services

Instructions for Obtaining Haryana Roadways Bus Passes
- Bus passes with holograms are issued. Different durations have distinct colors, with the expiry date displayed prominently. Each pass includes the applicant's photograph along with the names of the starting and destination points.
- Applicants must complete a form available for free. (Click here to download application form). The filled form should be submitted at the office of the General Manager of Haryana Roadways either at the origin or destination point on working days between 10 AM to 3 PM. The charge for a specific bus pass is 40 single fares for a one-month pass, 110 for three months, and 200 for six months. An additional charge of Rs. 15 applies for the cost of the card and processing fee.
- Passes can be issued and valid across Haryana, including Delhi and Chandigarh, subject to a minimum distance of 10 Kms one way.
- Passes are valid only for Standard Buses and Haryana Uday Buses (CNG standard buses).
