PMAY Cities List 2025 – List of Cities Selected Under PM Awas Yojana (PMAY-U)

PMAY Cities List - The government has selected 7550 cities across 28 states and 7 union territories under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). This scheme aims to provide over 2 crore homes for the economically weaker sections (EWS) and low-income groups (LIG) in urban areas.

The central government has sanctioned the construction of more than 1 crore houses nationwide, with Tamil Nadu leading the list with 1073 cities selected for affordable housing. Conversely, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Chandigarh are at the end of the selection list with just one city each.
