Punjab Cabinet Ministers List: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced another cabinet expansion featuring five new ministers on January 7, 2023. The newly inducted ministers include Balbir Singh, Aman Arora, Inderbir Singh Nijjar, Chetan Singh Jauramajra, and Anmol Gagan Maan. Balbir Singh is the health and family welfare minister, Aman Arora heads the employment generation and training department, Inderbir Singh Nijjar serves as the transport minister, Chetan Singh Jauramajra oversees the Information & Public Relations department, and Anmol Gagan Maan, a Punjabi singer, manages Tourism & Cultural Affairs, Labour, and Hospitality.
The cabinet comprises 18 members, including the chief minister. Following their oath-taking, the new ministers will be stationed in the Punjab Civil Secretariat, and the initial cabinet meeting of the AAP government is set to take place soon. Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit administered the oath of office to Bhagwant Mann in Khatkar Kalan, the ancestral village of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh. The AAP achieved a significant victory by securing 92 seats in the 117-member Punjab assembly, dramatically overshadowing the Congress and the Shiromani Akali Dal-Bahujan Samaj Party alliance.
