UP TGT Waiting List for Vacant TGT & PGT Posts in 2025

UP TGT Waiting List: The UP Secondary Education Service Board has announced plans to fill more than 2000 vacant TGT and PGT teacher positions. Vacancies for TGT and PGT teacher posts from the 2016 and 2021 batches remain unfilled, and the counseling process is set to start on July 10, 2025. There are currently 791 vacancies for TGT from 2016 and 1056 from the 2021 batch, alongside 90 vacancies each for PGT 2016 and PGT 2021.

These posts are open due to candidates not joining or resigning from these positions. The provisional selection list and waiting list for UP TGT will be released, addressing these non-joinings and resignations from the 2016 and 2021 batches. The cutoff list for candidates appearing in counseling and details about the vacant positions will be published on the official government portal at https://madhyamikshiksha.upsdc.gov.in.

The Uttar Pradesh government has started the counseling process for filling preferences for TGT and PGT posts from the 2021 and 2026 batches. The cutoff list will be published based on the preferences submitted by the candidates.

How to Check UP TGT Waiting List

Follow these steps to check the Uttar Pradesh TGT & PGT waiting list and counseling schedule:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Board at http://www.upsessb.org or https://madhyamikshiksha.upsdc.gov.in.

Step 2: Go to the "Examination" section and select "Results" from the homepage.

Step 3: Look for notifications related to Advt. No. 01/2021 TGT and 01/2016 TGT, or search for "www.upsessb.org 2016 waiting list" on Google.

Step 4: Download the UP TGT 2016 waiting list PDF and search for your name or registration number.

Step 5: Print out the document for future reference.

UP TGT 2016 Waiting List

The UP TGT exam for advertisement number 02/2016 was conducted on March 8, 2019, with a total of 7950 TGT and 1344 PGT teacher positions available. Currently, there are 791 TGT vacancies due to candidates not joining and resignations. The UP TGT waiting list will include the names, registration numbers, categories, and total marks of candidates.
