Government Opium & Alkaloid Factories of Neemuch and Gazipur has released GOAF Gov in Result 2023 list for opium crop year 2022-23. The farmers of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh now can check goaf.gov.in result 2022-23 of opium sample analysis results conducted from 4 April 2023 to 29 April 2023.
Narcotics Commissioner issues licenses to the farmers to cultivate opium poppy. Opium poppy crop is grown by cultivators and procured by Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN) and then it is transferred to Government Opium and Alkaloids Works (GOAW) factories for extraction of alkaloids from opium then it is sold to manufacturers of pharmaceutical preparations. In India there are only two opium factories one in Neemuch (MP) and other in Gazipur (UP) which analysis opium crop samples and releases opium sample analysis result.

Government Opium & Alkaloid Factories List (GOAF)
There are two Goaf factories in India, one in Ghazipur (UP), and other in Neemuch (M.P) and office of chief controller government for opium alkaloid factories is in Delhi.
- GOAW Ghazipur: Government Opium Alkaloid Works Ghazipur Uttar Paresh is oldest and largest opium factory in the world. It is located at Mahua Bagh, Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh 233001.
- GOAW Neemuch: Government Opium Alkaloid Works Neemuch Madhya Pradesh was established in 1933 for manufacturing of various alkaloids to pharmaceutical industry and processing of raw opium. It is located at Major District Road 11A, Nagar Palika Colony, Neemuch Chawni, Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh 458441
- CCF Delhi: Office of Chief Controller Government Opium Alkaloid Factories is located at block J ground floor, near NSIC Technical Centre Okhla Industrial Estate, Phase-III, New Delhi - 110020.
