New Sainik School List: In 2025, the Ministry of Defence has given the nod for the establishment of 21 new Sainik Schools. This initiative will be in collaboration with NGOs, private schools, and state governments. This is part of the government's plan to set up 100 new Sainik Schools across India to enhance educational opportunities and foster the development of responsible citizens.
The main aim of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's vision for these schools is to ensure quality education that aligns with the National Education Policy, thereby providing better career prospects for students, including opportunities in the Armed Forces. The collaboration also opens doors for the private sector to contribute to nation-building by nurturing the young generation.
