India Post Gramin Dak Sevak 2nd selection list has been published by India Post at GDS Online Portal indiapostgdsonline.cept.gov.in. The selection of candidates for post of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS), Branch Postmaster(BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster(ABPM), and Dak Seva is purely based on percentage of marks secured by applicants in 10th class or secondary school examination. The step by step complete procedure to check state wise India Post GDS second merit list 2023 of selected candidates.
Step 1: First visit the official website of Department of Posts Ministry of Communication Government of India at

Step 2: At the home of official website look for "Shortlist Candidates List" at left corner. or search www.indiapostgdsonline.gov.in 2nd merit list pdf on google search engine.
Step 3: Select shortlisted candidates 2nd merit list and select the circle you applied from the drop list of 23 circles of India Post GDS.
Step 4: PDF file of all selected candidates list of India Post GDS will be downloaded in your phone. Open India Post GDS Second merit list 2023 PDF and search your name or registration number.
Step 5: Take a print out of your name page for future reference and check divisional head office for document verification. The selected candidates have to verify their documents through the Divisional Head mentioned against their name with two set of attested photocopies of all relevant documents.
List of Documents Required for GDS Documents Verification
The selected candidates have to report at Divisional Department documents verifying authority before the date mentioned in GDS merit list of shortlisted candidates.
- Identify Proof Certificate: Aadhar Card, Pan Card, Driving Licence or Voter Id Card
- Educational Qualification Certificates: 10th class original marks sheet and passing certificate.
- Age Proof Certificate: Original date of birth certificate.
- Address Proof Certificates: Permanent residence certificate or Domicile certificate
- Reservation or Category Certificates : Original community or cast certificate for reserved category candidates.
- Medical certificate: Medical certificate issued by medical officer of any government hospital or dispensaries primary health centre.
- Other Certificate: Original Transgender certificate, Original PWD certificate, Riding a scooter or Motor Cycle Declaration Annexure III self attested certificate
Note: The candidates shortlisted provisionally must report for document verification along with above mentioned original documents and two sets of self attested photocopies of each documents.
