General Admiration Department government of Assam has published a notice regarding holiday list 2023 Assam state. Holiday list 2023 Assam notice was published under Section 25 of Negotiable Instrument Act 1881. In calendar year 2023, there are 15 gazetted holidays and rest are restricted holidays. The employees of state government organization can choose any two holidays from the list of gazetted restricted holidays declared by the government of Assam.
The state government of Assam has released public holidays Assamese calendar 2023. All state government offices, magisterial court and bank will remain closed on these holidays declared by government of Assam. The banks of Assam state will also remain close on 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month. Annual closing of bank accounts will be on 1st April 2023. Assam Government restricted holidays are optional holidays from which government employees can choice any two holiday in a year to take leave.
