How to Check RTE MP School List
Follow these steps to check the list of RTE schools for admission:
Step 1: Visit the official Madhya Pradesh Right to Education Portal.
Step 2: Click on "View List of RTE Schools" on the homepage.
Step 3: Select your district name, block name, academic year, zone, ward number, and class for admission, then enter the captcha and click "view school list".
Step 4: The list of MP RTE schools with addresses, DISE codes, contact numbers, and available seats for RTE admission will appear on your screen.
Step 5: To track your application status, select the school and click on the track application button. Follow the provided instructions.

Online Lottery for RTE Admissions
The Right to Free and Compulsory Education Act (RTE Act, 2009) ensures free education for children aged 3 to 14 years. Online registration for RTE school admissions for the 2024-25 session has already occurred. Students who applied can check the RTE admission results for 2024-25 on the MP RTE portal. After the lottery process, allocated seat information will be sent to the applicants via SMS on their registered mobile numbers.
Students who are allocated their places through the online lottery must download their allotment letter from the portal between 30 March and 10 April to get admission in the assigned schools. The respective unaided schools must record admission reporting through the mobile app during the admission process.
Eligibility Criteria for MP RTE School Admission
- Applicants must be residents of Madhya Pradesh and possess a domicile certificate.
- Applicants should belong to disadvantaged groups such as Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Vimukt Jatis, and the Economically Weaker Section (EWS).
- Applicants must come from families belonging to the Below Poverty Line (BPL) category.
- Families with leaseholds of forest land and of poor economic status.
- Children with disabilities of 40% or more.
- Children with HIV can also apply for MP RTE school admission.
