The Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs, Central Government, is set to establish the Khelo India State Centre of Excellence (KISCE) under the Khelo India Scheme. Each state and union territory will identify one KISCE, aiming to create a robust sporting ecosystem throughout the country.
As part of this initiative, the Sports Ministry has identified six additional states for the KISCE under the ongoing Khelo India Scheme. The states include Assam, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Meghalaya, and Sikkim in the second phase. Below is the list of KISCE Khelo India states.
