Nadu Nedu Schools List 2025: The Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, has published the list of Nadu Nedu Phase 2 schools after successfully completing Phase 1. A total of 44,512 schools, including all residential schools managed by the School Education, Panchayat Raj, Municipal Administration, Social Welfare, BC Welfare, Tribal Welfare, Minority Welfare, Juvenile Welfare, and Fisheries Departments, are covered under the Mana Badi Nadu Nedu initiative. In the first phase, approximately 15,715 schools were upgraded at a total cost of ₹3,770 crore, and in Phase II, 22,334 schools are included with an expenditure of ₹1,265,07,65,315.
The aim of the Andhra Pradesh Mana Badi Nadu Nedu Scheme is to undertake improvement through community contracting instead of relying on private contractors. Detailed information on the implementation of mandals and executive agencies for the Mana Badi Nadu Nedu project’s Phase 1 and Phase 2 schools is outlined below.

Mana Badi Nadu Nedu School Infrastructure Works
The following facilities will be provided in all government schools to enhance the educational infrastructure within Andhra Pradesh:
- Toilets with running water
- Electrification with fans and tube lights
- Drinking water supply
- Furniture for students and staff
- Painting of school premises
- Major and minor repairs
- Green chalkboards
- English labs
- Compound walls
Nadu Nedu Anganwadi Schools
The Chief Minister of AP has proposed that Anganwadi schools will now be known as YSR Pre Primary schools. The government will ensure the quality of the books and prepare special videos aimed at making teaching more interesting for students. Officials will focus on maintaining cleanliness in toilets and appointing caretakers with a specific monthly salary. Depending on the number of students, up to four caretakers may be assigned to each school. It is estimated that each school requires between ₹6,250 and ₹8,000 per month for maintaining cleanliness in toilets, which includes the cost of cleaning supplies.
