Purvanchal Expressway toll plaza list for 2026-27 is now out with the revised rates. UPEIDA has updated the toll charges for the expressway from April 1, 2026, and the new rates apply to every vehicle type that uses the 340 km route between Lucknow and Ghazipur.
The expressway starts at Chand Sarai village in Lucknow district and ends at Haidaria village near NH-31 in Ghazipur district. Toll is collected at plazas built at the main intersections along the route. FASTag is required for all vehicles, and the toll amount depends on the distance you travel and the type of vehicle.
Purvanchal Expressway Toll Plaza List 2026
UPEIDA runs the toll collection on this expressway. The agency revises the rates every year in April, and the 2026-27 revision has kept the charges for small vehicles unchanged. Two-wheelers, three-wheelers and tractors still pay ₹350, the same as last year. Cars, jeeps, vans and light motor vehicles also pay the same ₹700 as before.
The increase this year is small and mostly on the heavier categories. Bus and truck rates went up by ₹15, while heavy construction machinery and multi-axle vehicles saw a hike of ₹10. Oversized vehicles with seven or more axles now pay ₹4400, which is ₹15 more than the old rate. UPEIDA officials say the yearly revision covers the maintenance, safety systems and modern facilities on the expressway.

How to Pay Purvanchal Expressway Toll
Paying the toll on this expressway is simple if your FASTag is active and has enough balance. Follow these steps before you start your trip.
STEP 1 - Make sure your vehicle has a valid FASTag issued by any bank or the IHMCL network, and that it is fixed on the windscreen as required.
STEP 2 - Recharge your FASTag wallet through your bank app, UPI or the IHMCL portal so that the balance covers the toll for your full route.
STEP 3 - Drive through the dedicated FASTag lane at the toll plaza. The scanner reads the tag and the toll amount is deducted automatically.
STEP 4 - Check the receipt or your bank SMS to confirm the deduction. If the tag fails, use the cash lane and pay the toll there.
