The Telangana State Housing Corporation Ltd has launched the Telangana Gruha Lakshmi Scheme to offer financial support to BC, SC, and ST category women for constructing their homes. The Telangana government has set aside a substantial budget of ₹12,000 crore to facilitate the construction of over 4 lakh houses. Each beneficiary under this scheme will receive a one-time grant of ₹3 lakh for their house construction.
Designed under the Beneficiary Led Construction (BLC) model, the Telangana Gruha Lakshmi Scheme aims to empower eligible women with complete financial support. The government plans to construct a total of 4 lakh houses, ensuring at least 3,000 houses are built in each assembly constituency throughout the state.

Women who are eligible for the Telangana Gruha Lakshmi Scheme can apply by submitting their documents, such as a food security card, Aadhar card, and voter card, to Tehsildars and Town Planning officers within municipalities.

Telangana Gruha Lakshmi Scheme Eligibility List
The house will be sanctioned in the name of the beneficiary women or widow, who can choose their own design for the construction.
- The applicant must be a resident of the village/ULB in Telangana state.
- The applicant should belong to the SC, ST, or BC category.
- The minimum age limit to avail the benefits is 18 years.
- The beneficiary should have a valid food security card (FSC).
- The beneficiary must possess a house site for constructing the new house.
- The applicant must not have benefited from any similar scheme, like the 2BHK scheme, nor any family member.
- If the applicant already owns a house with a RCC roof, they will not be eligible for the Telangana Gruha Lakshmi Scheme.

Telangana Gruha Lakshmi Scheme Beneficiary List
Beneficiaries of the Telangana Gruha Lakshmi Scheme will be selected from the SC/ST/BC/Minorities category, with at least 3,000 from each assembly constituency. The district collector in every district will finalize the selection list based on the applications received from the public and representatives.
All eligible applicants not included in the final selection list will be placed on a Permanent Wait List (PWL), which will be considered for future house sanctions under this scheme. The primary goal of the government is to ensure dignified living conditions for poor families from SC/ST/BC/Minorities in Telangana. Each unit constructed will feature a 2-room house with an RCC framed structure and a toilet.

Telangana Gruha Lakshmi Scheme Benefits
The government will provide a total amount of ₹3 lakh for the construction of a house on the beneficiary's site (Beneficiary Led Construction - BLC) with full subsidy. The amount will be disbursed in three stages of ₹1 lakh each. Payments will be directly deposited into the beneficiary's bank account.
