The Andhra Pradesh government has introduced the YSR Aasara Dwarka Runa Mafi scheme in 2025. This beneficial program aims to assist women’s self-help groups (SHGs) by waiving off their loans, ensuring greater financial stability for women in the state.
Currently, there are about 9,33,180 women’s groups, which translates to over 90 lakh women eligible to benefit from this initiative. The government has allocated a significant financial budget of ₹6792.21 crores for the successful implementation of this scheme.
Eligibility Criteria for YSR Aasara Dwarka Runa Mafi Scheme
To be eligible for the YSR Aasara scheme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh.
- Only women applicants are accepted.
- Applicants should not exceed the age of 60 years.
- Applicants must belong to economically disadvantaged families.
- Only women will be recognized as beneficiaries under this scheme.
