The West Bengal State Council for Vocational Training has published the WB ITI merit list for the admission session 2025 in various ITI trade courses across government ITIs/ITCs/PPP government ITIs/Government Junior Polytechnical (JP) institutions/private ITIs in West Bengal. Candidates who have applied for vocational ITI courses can now check the WB ITI merit list for admission in 2025.
Institutes and trades will be assigned through e-counseling based on the rank obtained in the merit list and the choice of the applicants. For M group trades, the selection is based on the marks obtained in Madhyamik or equivalent board examination. For E group trades, it is based on the marks from the class VIII examination. The step-by-step process to check the WB ITI merit list is detailed below.
Step 1: Visit the official website of the West Bengal State Council for Vocational Training at scvtwb.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on "Merit List for ITI Admission 2025".
Step 3: The merit list for Admission in Vocational Training Courses will open.
Step 4: Login using your registered mobile number and password to proceed with the choice filling for admission.
Step 5: Print the results for your future reference. Candidates can see their allocated seats and print out the seat confirmation slip from the website. They must visit the ITI according to the provisional allotment letter for admission on the scheduled date.

List of Documents Required for WB ITI Admission 2025
Students should carry the following documents for admission to ITI vocational courses in 2025. All original certificates and testimonials for entry qualification along with a set of self-attested copies, a copy of the merit rank, and the seat confirmation slip must be presented at the start of physical classes.
- 10th Class Passing Certificate/Mark Sheet (Madhyamik or equivalent) as proof of age (for M group trades only).
- 8th class mark-sheet (Madhyamik or equivalent/class VIII) examination (for E group trades).
- SC, ST, OBC, PH category certificate (if applicable).
