Haryana DC Rate List 2026: Latest Minimum Wages for All Worker Categories

Haryana DC Rate List 2026 is now updated with the revised minimum wages notified by Haryana Labour Department. The new rates are effective from 1 April 2026 and give a flat 35% increase to workers in every skill category.

Haryana government issued this notification on 9 April 2026 under the Code on Wages, 2019. The revision has replaced the old system where each district committee fixed its own DC rate, so a worker in Gurugram and a worker in Hisar now get the same minimum wage for the same skill level.

Haryana DC Rate List 2026

DC rate means the minimum wage that a district administration can pay for a particular type of work. The name comes from District Collector, because these rates were earlier decided at the district level. Now Haryana Labour Department fixes the basic minimum rates of wages for all scheduled employments in the state, and district administrations use the same figures while hiring workers on contract.

Workers are placed in four main categories based on skill and experience. An unskilled worker needs no special training, a semi-skilled worker has some experience or a short certificate course, a skilled worker holds a diploma or longer training, and a highly skilled worker has a degree or an advanced qualification.

Monthly wage is fixed by the notification. Daily wage is worked out by dividing the monthly amount by 26 working days, and any work beyond 9 hours a day has to be paid as overtime at double the normal rate.

Some common job roles that fall under each category are given below.

• Unskilled covers chowkidar, water carrier, sweeper and helper roles where no certificate or prior experience is needed.
• Semi-Skilled covers driver, electrician and machine assistant roles that need a short course or some work experience.
• Skilled covers experienced mason, data entry operator and technician roles that need matriculation along with a diploma of more than one year.
• Highly Skilled covers computer operator, junior engineer and staff nurse roles that need graduation or a diploma of over two years.

What Changed in Haryana DC Rates 2026

The revised rates are around 35% higher than the earlier wages. Unskilled workers got the biggest jump in rupee terms, with the monthly wage moving from ₹11,274.60 to ₹15,220.71. The table below shows the old and new monthly wages for each category.

Since the revised rates apply from 1 April 2026, workers who were paid at the old rate after that date are entitled to the difference. Trainees get 75% of the wage for their category, but this amount cannot fall below the unskilled wage.

Finding the district wise DC rate PDF is easy once you know where to look. Follow the steps given below.

STEP 1 - Open the official website of your district administration. Every district in Haryana runs its own nic.in website, and Panchkula district website is a good example of how these pages are arranged.

STEP 2 - Go to the Documents or Notifications section and pick the DC Rate option from the category filter. This brings up every DC rate order uploaded by that district.

STEP 3 - Click the View or Download link next to the DC rate entry. The PDF opens in a new tab and can be saved on your phone or computer for later use.

STEP 4 - For the state-wide revised wages, check the Haryana Labour Department website and look for the notification dated 9 April 2026, which carries the rates effective from 1 April 2026.
