The Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 (SARFAESI Act) allows banks and financial entities to recover secured loans directly from borrowers without requiring court intervention initially. If a borrower feels aggrieved by actions taken by secured creditors under the SARFAESI Act, they can file Securitization Appeals (SAs) with the DRTs.

How to Check DRT Cause List 2025
Follow these steps to check the cause list of Debts Recovery Tribunals (DRTs):
Step 1: Go to the official website of Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunals (DRATs)
Step 2: On the homepage, select "Cause List" and then click on "DRT Cause List".
Step 3: Use the direct link to access the DRT Cause List:
https://drt.gov.in/front/Hcreate_causelist1.php.
Step 4: Choose the DRT, Date, Court Name, Court Number, and enter the captcha value, then click the "Search" button.
Step 5: The DRT Cause List Report will appear. Click on "Print daily cause list" to view the report.
Step 6: Review the printout of the daily cause list for detailed information.
DRT / DRATS Case Status
To check the case status of DRT / DRATS and RC / TRC, follow these steps:
Step 1: Navigate to the official website of Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunals (DRATs) at drt.gov.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, look for "Case Details" then click on "DRT / DRATS Case Status" or access it directly here: https://drt.gov.in/front/drt_case_status.php.
Step 3: Enter details such as DRT / DRAT Name, Case Type, Case Number, and Year.
Step 4: Input the captcha value and click on the "Search" button.
Step 5: The case status report will display on your screen.
