How to Apply for PM Shram Yogi Mandhan Yojana 2025
The following steps outline the application process for the PM Shram Yogi Mandhan Yojana:
- Step 1: Visit the nearest Common Service Centre (CSC).
- Step 2: Required documents to enroll include:
- Aadhaar Card
- Savings/Jan Dhan Bank account details with IFSC Code.
- Step 3: Make the initial contribution amount in cash to the Village Level Entrepreneur (VLE).
- Step 4: The VLE will enter your Aadhaar number, full name, and date of birth from the Aadhaar card for verification.
- Step 5: Complete online registration by providing your bank account details, mobile number, email address, spouse (if applicable), and nominee details.
- Step 6: Self-certification for eligibility will be conducted.
- Step 7: The system will auto calculate the monthly contribution based on the beneficiary's age.
- Step 8: Make your first subscription payment in cash to the VLE.
- Step 9: Sign the printed enrollment and auto-debit mandate form, which will be scanned and uploaded by the VLE.
- Step 10: A unique Shram Yogi Pension Account Number (SPAN) will be generated, and the Shram Yogi Card will be printed for the beneficiary.
Eligibility Criteria for PM Shram Yogi Mandhan Yojana
To be eligible for the PMSYM scheme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Aged between 18 and 40 years.
- Monthly income must be below ₹15,000 and should be involved in the unorganized sector.
- Must not be an income taxpayer.
- Should not be a member of the Employees Provident Fund (EPF), National Pension Scheme (NPS), or Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC).
- Must have a savings bank account.
- Must possess an Aadhaar number.
