PSEB 10th Result Merit List 2026: Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) declared the Class 10 matric result on 11 May 2026. A total of 2,54,744 students passed out of 2,69,505 who appeared, which works out to an overall pass percentage of 94.52%. The merit list and topper names were released along with the result.

PSEB 10th Result Merit List 2026
This year 272 students made it to the merit list. That includes 52 boys and 220 girls, so girls once again took most of the top spots. Harleen Sharma topped the state with 646 marks out of 650, which is 99.38%.
Merit list is prepared on the basis of total marks in the board exam. When two students score the same marks, the younger student gets the higher rank. This is why Manimahesh Sharma was placed at second position even though Riya Rani also scored 645 marks.

STEP 1 - Go to the official PSEB website at pseb.ac.in.
STEP 2 - On the home page, open the "Results" section.
STEP 3 - Click the link for PSEB Class 10 Result 2026.
STEP 4 - Enter your roll number and name, then click the submit button.
STEP 5 - Your marksheet will open on the screen. Download it and take a printout for later use.

PSEB 10th Result 2026 Pass Percentage and District Details
Girls did better than boys this year as well. Pass percentage of girls was 95.96%, while boys recorded 93.23%. Rural students also performed slightly better than city students, with a pass rate of 95.35% against 92.98% in urban areas. Among school types, non-government schools had the highest pass rate at 95.97%, government schools were at 94.45% and aided schools at 89.68%.
District wise, the top performing districts of Punjab are given below.
- Amritsar recorded the best district pass percentage at 98.41%.
- Ferozepur came second with 98.39%, followed by Pathankot at 97.99%.
- Ludhiana had the lowest pass percentage among all districts at 89.20%.
