The National Test Agency (NTA) has recently published the updated list of institutes that accept JEE Main scores for admission to undergraduate engineering programs. In total, there are 114 institutes listed, including 31 National Institutes of Technology (NITs), 25 Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), 28 Central Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs), along with various other universities recognized by state governments.

The JEE Main examination for 2025 will be organized by NTA and is expected to take place in two sessions. The best score will be utilized from these sessions to create the merit list and subsequently the JEE ranking. This ranking is crucial for candidates wishing to apply for admission to various engineering colleges that accept JEE Main scores.
JEE Main College List 2025
The JEE Main college list for 2025 showcases a total of 114 institutes that accept the JEE Main scores for admission into their engineering programs. The allocation of seats is determined by candidate preferences and all-India rank based on the JEE Main exam through a process managed by CSAB/JoSA.
Eligibility for Admission to Engineering Institutes Accepting JEE Main 2025
- A candidate should have completed the 12th Class (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2021 or 2022 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- For B. Tech: Must have passed qualifying exams with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subjects.
- For B. Arch: Must have passed qualifying exams with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
- B. Planning: Must have passed qualifying exams with Mathematics.
- Candidates should be among the top 250,000 successful candidates (across all categories) in the B.E./B.Tech. paper of JEE Main.
- A candidate is permitted to attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times in consecutive years.
