ACPUGMEC Guidelines for Choice Filling

These guidelines must be followed while filling choices for the Admission Committee for Professional Under Graduate Medical Courses.

  • Online seat allotment is done based on merit cum choice in institutes permitted by the concerned council.
  • Candidates can choose their course, institute, government or self-financed institute, and the tuition fee is decided by them.
  • Candidates are advised to fill all available choices so they can get admission if any institute gets permission during the allotment process.
  • For the second and later rounds, seat allotment is carried out as per the closure of the first round, irrespective of the choices made by the candidate in the first round.
  • The closure of the present round is displayed along with the allotment result of that round.
  • If a candidate fails to confirm admission for the allotted seat for any reason, they will not be allotted the same type of seats in the same institute in later rounds of counselling.

Documents Required at Help Center

Candidates who confirm a provisional allotted seat must submit original documents at the appointed help center after paying the tuition fee. From the second round onwards, document verification is done only against original documents, and DigiLocker copies or color photocopies are not accepted.

  • ACPUGMEC allotment letter, Std 10th and Std 12th marksheets passed from a school in Gujarat, and NEET UG 2026 marksheet.
  • Proof of birth and citizenship, along with school leaving certificate or transfer certificate.
  • Bank receipt of tuition fee payment and tuition fee receipt generated from the admission module.
  • Caste certificate for SC, ST and SEBC candidates, issued by Gujarat state authorities only.
  • Non-creamy layer certificate for SEBC candidates and EWS certificate for EWS candidates, valid for 2026-27.
  • Physical fitness certificate and NOC or cancellation order, if previously admitted through this committee.

HDFC Bank Branches for Tuition Fees

Tuition fee payment must be made only at the HDFC Bank branches designated by the admission committee. Payments made at any other branch will not be counted for admission confirmation. The full branch list can be downloaded from the link below.
