Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced cbse holiday list 2024 and cbse holiday calendar 2024-25 for all schools affiliated to CBSE board. Every year in the month of march, CBSE releases academic calendar for all schools affiliated to CBSE which include list of government holidays, summer vacation holidays, half yearly exam dates, winter holidays and annual exams dates. All schools affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education will remain closed on public holidays and holidays declared by respective state governments.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is government board of education which was formed on 2 July 1929. CBSE has given affiliation to more than 27,000 schools in India and 240 schools in different foreign countries. CBSE has released cbse school holiday list 2024-25 and originations at its official website cbse.gov.in. On a gazetted holiday declared by government of India all head offices of CBSE and schools affiliated to CBSE will remain closed. Moreover CBSE regional office will also remain closed on Sunday and second Saturday of each month.

CBSE Summer Vacation 2024 List
CBSE summer vacation starts from first week of May and end in the first week of June. CBSE summer vacation schedule 2024-25 for class 10th and 12th class students depends upon school management. Central Board of Secondary Examination summer vacation schedule 2024-25 is given below.

CBSE Diwali Vacation 2024
This year Diwali falls on 31 October 2024 (Sunday). There will be holiday on Dhanteras (29 October 2024), Govardhan Pooja (02 November 2024), Bhai Dooj (03 November 2024) for all classes of CBSE Board students.
