CRSU B.Ed merit list 2026 is prepared by Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University (CRSU), Jind for B.Ed admission in Haryana colleges. CRSU runs the centralised B.Ed admission for government aided and self-financing colleges of education across the state. The merit list is published on the official university website crsu.ac.in after the online application window closes.
B.Ed admission in Haryana works on merit, not on an entrance test. Your marks in the undergraduate degree decide your place in the list. CRSU kept the B.Ed and B.Sc application window open from 29 July to 31 August 2026, and the merit list follows after that. Students who applied for the 2026-27 session can check the list online.
CRSU B.Ed Merit List 2026
Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University prepares the CRSU B.Ed merit list from the marks scored in the undergraduate (UG) degree. If you also hold a postgraduate (PG) degree, the higher score between UG and PG is counted. Two lists are drafted, one for the general category and one for the reserved category.
Ties are settled in a fixed order. Older candidates get preference first. If the tie still stays, Class 12 board marks are checked, and then Class 10 marks. Once your name appears in the list, you move to the counselling round.

How to Check CRSU B.Ed Merit List
Checking the list takes only a few minutes if you follow the steps below.
STEP 1 - Go to the official website of Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University at crsu.ac.in on any browser.
STEP 2 - On the homepage, find the "Find the Daily Announcements" section, where the university puts up all fresh notices.
STEP 3 - Search for the CRSU B.Ed merit list link there, or open the student corner, then the admission section, and click on merit lists.
STEP 4 - The merit list for the 2026-27 session will open. Click the link for the B.Ed course, download the PDF, and save a copy for counselling.
Who Can Get a Place in the B.Ed Merit List
Not every applicant makes it to the list. CRSU checks the qualifying marks before preparing it. The main eligibility points are given below.
- At least 50 percent marks in the Bachelor's degree or the Master's degree in Sciences, Social Sciences, or Humanities. For SC, ST, Blind, and Visually and Differently Abled candidates of Haryana, the bar is 47.5 percent.
- Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with Science and Mathematics specialisation needs 55 percent marks, and 52.25 percent for the reserved categories of Haryana.
- BBA or MBA graduates need 50 percent marks, while BCA or MCA graduates need 55 percent marks. The same relaxation applies to Haryana's reserved category candidates.
- Applicants must be Indian citizens. Those without a permanent Haryana address are treated as unreserved candidates.
What Happens After the Merit List
Names in the list move to counselling. You register online, fill your college choices, and wait for seat allotment. Seats are given as per your rank and the choices you filled. After allotment, you report to the college with original documents and pay the admission fee. If seats stay vacant, CRSU holds another round, and a physical counselling round can follow. Documents usually asked for include Class 10 and 12 marksheets, UG and PG marksheets and degrees, category certificate, Haryana residence certificate, income certificate, character certificate, migration certificate, and a photo ID proof.
