GOAF Gov in Result 2022-23 List – अफीम फैक्ट्री रिजल्ट

Government Opium and Alkaloid Factories in Neemuch and Gazipur released the GOAF Gov in Result list for the opium crop year 2022-23. Farmers from Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh can now check the opium sample analysis results conducted from 4 April to 29 April 2023 on the official website.

The Narcotics Commissioner provides licenses to farmers for cultivating opium poppy. After harvesting, the opium poppy is procured by the Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN), then sent to Government Opium and Alkaloids Works (GOAW) factories for alkaloid extraction, which is later supplied to pharmaceutical manufacturers. India has two GOAF locations – one in Neemuch (M.P.) and the other in Gazipur (U.P.) – responsible for analyzing opium crop samples and publishing the analysis results.

Government Opium & Alkaloid Factories List (GOAF)

India has two GOAF locations: Ghazipur (U.P.) and Neemuch (M.P.), with the chief controller of government opium alkaloid factories located in Delhi.

• GOAW Ghazipur: The Government Opium Alkaloid Works in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, is the largest opium factory in the world. Located at Mahua Bagh, Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh 233001.
• GOAW Neemuch: Established in 1933, the Government Opium Alkaloid Works in Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh, processes raw opium and manufactures various alkaloids for the pharmaceutical industry. Located at Major District Road 11A, Nagar Palika Colony, Neemuch Chawni, Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh 458441.
• CCF Delhi: The Office of the Chief Controller of Government Opium Alkaloid Factories is located at Block J, Ground Floor, NSIC Technical Centre, Okhla Industrial Estate, Phase-III, New Delhi - 110020.
