Kerala District List: Kerala state is located at 10.8505° N latitude and 76.2711° E longitude in the south-west of India. Kerala share boundaries with Karnataka to the north, Tamil Nadu to the east. The State of Kerala has Arabian Sea to its south and west. The capital of Kerala state is Thiruvananthapuram and official language of administration is Malayalam.
Kerala state was formed on 1 November 1956 by combing Malayalam language peaking regions of Cochin, Malabar, South Canara and Travancore. Kerala is having 38,863 km2 which is 1% of the total area of the country and 21st in area among all states of India.
