In case of a tie, the relative merit of candidates is determined in the following order:
- Higher scores in Mathematics in MHT CET.
- Higher scores in Physics in MHT CET.
- Higher scores in Chemistry in MHT CET.
- A higher percentage of marks in the Board or qualifying examinations for Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry combined.
- A higher percentage of marks in Mathematics at HSC.
- A higher percentage of marks in Physics at HSC.
- A higher percentage of marks in Aggregate at HSC.
